2. Lake Fun at Innsbrook
“Lake hair, don’t care”
Innsbrook is an experience of its own and the lakes are the center of it all. With over 100 on the property, you’re never far from your next lake adventure.
If you’ve never stayed or visited Innsbrook it can be a bit overwhelming to get yourself oriented with all the idiosyncracies and nuances of the resort.
The first thing to know is spending time on the lake is peaceful, clean, and fun!
There’s nothing like pouring a cup of coffee and walking down to the nearest lake as the fog lifts and the calmness pierces your soul.
Swimming is safe and the waters are clean. Gas-powered motors are not allowed so you don’t have to worry about boats zipping by while you paddle board across the lake.
For those who love to fish, the lakes are well stocked with bass, bluegill, catfish, and sunfish.
It’s an amazing site to see sailboats dance across the lake on any given summer day. It’s not rare to see over 100 sailboats on the lake at a given time.
Sand Beaches
There are 13 sand beaches at Innsbrook that are open to the community. Lake Aspen, Innsbrook’s most beloved and largest lake at 150 acres, has four sand beaches alone!
It’s a joy to watch the kids build sand castles and jump off the swim docks to cool off.
For those who don’t have their own lake toys, you can rent canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards at the Aspen Center.

The zero-entry pool has swim lanes, lazy river, and bar! The lounge area has plenty of seating for you and your guests. Relax poolside as your little ones splash their hearts out on a hot summer’s day.
For those looking to keep their fitness goals on track, the attached Fitness Center offers beautiful views and great equipment including free weights, treadmills, various exercise machines, and a multi-purpose exercise and yoga studio.

The Children’s Playground is a favorite spot for kids of all ages! Innsbrook installed an outstanding Children’s Playground in 2016 that will make you yearn to be a kid again. The Dun Right Stables is a fantastic place to visit. The goats and small animals located by the red barn are available to view and pet anytime over the fence and stable tours are generally given year-round. While they do not offer trail rides they do offer riding lesson programs for beginner to advanced riders.

Lachen Hund Dog Park, located near Lake Konstanz, is a 10,000 sq. ft fenced area where your dogs are able to run leash-free without fear of taking off after the local wildlife in the area. The dog park is open from sunrise to sunset and has nice benches and a pavilion to relax under, a fire hydrant, and fresh water for your pet.

4. Hike Innsbrook without Getting Lost
They say there’s two seasons at Innsbrook: lake season and hiking season.
The Innsbrook trails system is an extensive network that range in complexity, appealing to the Sunday stroller and the avid hiker.
The complete list of trails listed below details each one of Innsbrook’s seven hiking trails including trail length, directions to the trailhead, and a map so you can find your way.

Aspen Spur provides glorious views of the lake Aspen Spillway (woah talk about the power of water!) and accompanying picturesque adjacent meadow. The waterfall attracts an abundance of wildlife and it’s known to be a favorite hideout for herons and other birds.
Directions: From the Real Estate Sales Office, drive south on Aspen Way Dr. and then turn south on West Aspen Circle Dr. The trailhead is located across the bridge on the north side.

The Grendel is not to be missed. It skirts the 6.5 acre Lake Grendel and has several steep hills that will surely have your gluts activated! The moss-covered paths make it feel like you’ve been transported to a far-away land.
Directions: From the Alpine Tunnel, head south on Alpine Lake Dr., turn Northwest on Grendel Dr. and continue until it ends and the gravel parking lot. The trailhead is located west of the parking lot (towards Schuetzenground Road).

The Konstanz hiking trail provides expansive views of not only one lake, but two! As you traverse through the path you’ll circle around Lake Konstanz while taking in the view of Lake Alpine as well.
Directions: From the Real Estate Office, travel south on Aspen Way Dr., then west on Meadow Valley Drive. When you arrive at the Konstanz three-way intersection, turn right on North Konstanz Dr. Parking and trailhead are located across from Lot 2223.

The Meadows hiking trail follows Charette Creek through all its winds and bends, opening up to a peaceful meadow where you’ll be sure to see a plethora of wildlife.
Directions: the Meadows trailhead is located just east of the intersection of Meadow Valley Dr. and Meadow Ridge, steps away from Harmony Bridge. You’ll find the parking lot located just west of the bridge.

The Sonnenblick trail is a delightful trail that extends through the forest and skirts the outermost southeast corner of Innsbrook. Enjoy the sights and sounds of nature as you wind your way through this one-mile hike.
Directions: From the Aspen Center, turn south on East Aspen Circle Dr. and turn east on Lake Wynnbrook Dr. The parking lot and trailhead is located near lot 1715.

Tyrolean trail is an excellent way to view Innsbrook at its best. The hike cuts through Alpine Valley where you’ll experience incredible scenery including a winding creek, Alpine Lake, Alpine Valley and several waterfalls. Make sure to spend some time at the historic log cabins and one-room schoolhouse lovingly restored by Innsbrook volunteers.
Waterfalls Section, 1.10 miles
For those looking for an extra dose of adventure, add the Waterfalls section to your hike. It includes a challenging 1.10 mile trek with rocky terrain as well as steep climbs and descents. The view is not to be missed!
Directions: Located south of Alpine Lake, travel west on Meadow Valley Dr. and turn south on Alpine Lake Drive. Look for the Historic Log Cabin sign just before reaching the dam and turn left down the gravel road. You can park in the parking lot at the trailhead or by the historic log cabins.

Located southeast of Lake Aspen, the Wynnbrook hiking trail circles Lake Wynnbrook. It’s a lovely trail with varied terrain, wildflowers, and wildlife. Enjoy this trail and all Innsbrook has to offer.
Directions: From the Aspen Center, follow East Aspen Circle Dr. around Lake Aspen to the trailhead parking lot located at the intersection of East Aspen Circle Dr. and East St. Gallen Dr.
Without Innsbrook’s lakes, streams, woods, and meadows (and the plants and animals that live within them) the community wouldn’t be the natural paradise it is today.
The Innsbrook administration asks hikers to take only pictures and leave only footprints to conserve its natural beauty.

5. Eat at Innsbrook like a Pro
While there are several dining options at Innsbrook it’s important to note they’ve been known to all be closed at the same time for inclement weather or slow-down times. View the list of on-resort dining options and favorite local hangouts below.

The Summerhaus Restaurant is Innsbrook’s poolside eatery and bar. The outdoor seating area overlooks the upscale pool area, amphitheater, and lake. Be sure to order the funnel cake fries—apparently, they’re an Innsbrook delicacy!

Opened in 2021, the Par Bar is Innsbrook’s first food truck option. The Par Bar is located on the 18th hole of the golf course, next to the Clubhouse Bar & Grille. Known for quick and easy, on-the-go favorites, the Par Bar offers hot eats and refreshing adult beverages.

The Clubhouse Bar & Grille is located on Innsbrook’s beautiful golf course. The views are spectacular when dining alfresco on their back deck, especially at sunset.

Long Row Lavender Farm
Long Row Lavender is a gem of a place tucked away on a 15 acre farm a few short miles from Innsbrook. The moment you step onto the property you can feel how unique and special the farm is.
The cafe and gift shop are housed in a picturesque gambrel barn and features hand-crafted lavender products, home decor, and unique gifts from local artisans.
Sip on their lavender lemonade on the porch swing as you take in the beautiful views and scents of the farm or treat yourself to lunch, freshly made desserts, coffee, and lavender-infused tea in their cafe.
The farm, gift shop, and café are open Wednesday thru Saturday from 10-4, March to December.
Eco Adventure Zip Lines
With over a mile of zip lines at astounding heights exceeding 250 feet, this zip line adventure is unlike any other in Missouri. Soar through the tree tops with an adrenaline-packed adventure for kids of all ages. Reservations are required so make sure to contact them beforehand.
Theirbach Orchards & Berry Farm
Favorited by locals, Theirbach Orchards is located in Marthasville, MO—a 30-minute scenic drive from Innsbrook taking the back roads. It’s the perfect place for fresh fruit and family fun!

Big Joel’s Safari
Big Joel's Safari Petting Zoo and Educational Park is more than just your average petting zoo.

We can’t recommend Cedar Lake Cellars enough! With live music, award-winning wine, and delicious dining, Cedar Lake Cellars is an all-time favorite of the Innsbrook community.
The property is truly one of a kind and, like Innsbrook, is hard to put into words. It really has to be seen in person to understand the depth and beauty of this winery. It sits on 400 picturesque acres and has two lakes on the property, swans included!
A short drive from the front gate, this premier winery and event venue is open year-round, Wednesday thru Sunday, and welcomes guests over 21 years of age.
Renaissance Wine Garden
The Renaissance is a cozy wine garden serving great food and high-quality wine. Patrons can relax in the courtyard by the musical fountain or atop their unique two-story tree house.
The wine garden specializes in local Missouri blends and has a great menu to compliment their wine selection.
Located in Floristal, MO, Renaissance Wine Garden is a 15-minute drive from Innsbrook. Note: like Cedar Lake Cellars, the winery is a 21 and over establishment.
Holy Grail Winery
The Holy Grail Winery is especially unique as its wines are made by hand with the same European traditions used in the 1800s! The grapes for their wines are hand-picked and pressed using an old Italian press. Their wine is then bottled straight into a Missouri oak barrel. Located in Marthasville, MO—a 30-minute drive from Innsbrook.
Lake Creek Winery
Lake Creek Winery, also located in Marthasville, MO (30 mins from Innsbrook) is housed in a remodeled 1860’s farmhouse situated on top of the river bluffs. The views are spectacular and the wine is delicious.
